The X5 is an integrated extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter intended for the treatment of kidney and urinary stones.

Combining dual imaging modes – X-ray and ultrasound (available as an optional accessory) – with an assisted movement system, the technology enables accurate imaging for localizing stones and helps reduce radiation exposure time for the patient.

Assisted Movement Function

  • A single click automatically repositions the patient table to align the stone with the target marker, minimizing manual adjustments and helping reduce treatment time.
  • Operated via an intuitive control console combining a joystick and touchscreen interface, as well as an ergonomic handheld remote control for table-side operation, clinicians retain full control and real-time communication with the patient throughout the procedure.

Dual Imaging for Confident Localization

  • X-ray and optional ultrasound imaging provide complementary, high-resolution visualization for accurate stone localization across different clinical scenarios, seamlessly integrating into clinical workflow.
  • With ultrasound, the system additionally supports continuous real-time monitoring throughout treatment and helps minimize radiation exposure time for the patient.

Flexible Treatment Access

  • The X5’s therapy head arm offers ±180° rotation and ±25° tilt, providing multiple access windows for optimal treatment angles across both over-table and under-table approaches. This accommodates varying patient anatomies and clinical requirements.
  • A bidirectional 3-axis linear motion table supports ease of positioning and helps improve treatment efficiency.
